- Summary of Duties: *Responsibilities for this position consist of accurately maintaining the loan collateral vault, retention of collateral and credit files, and the appropriate filing of all loan documentation. This position is also responsible for assisting branches in acquiring information contained in collateral and credit files.
- Specific Duties*:
- Accurate filing of collateral and credit files.
- Filing of credit applications and other associated documents in the customer's credit file.
- Organize and file miscellaneous loan documents into collateral files.
- Scanning all loan documentation and files into Document Imaging system.
- Indexing all non-real estate insurances in Document Imaging system.
- Notify management of any missing loan documentation or files.
- Ensure collateral and credit files are neat, organized and properly labeled.
- Tracks and pulls loan documentation for finance companies to send to the appropriate branches when requests for paid outs or copies are made.
- Assembles collateral and credit files so they can be reviewed and filed in the vault.
- Responsible for vault maintenance such cleanliness and organization.
- Send information and copies of loan documentation to branches when requested. Review and distribution of all finance company notes the bank holds as collateral monthly. This includes the mailing of paid contracts, the checking in of new contracts, and any requests for contracts made by said finance companies.
