What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher's Aide position at Pike Creek Christian Preschool?
The primary purpose of this position it to support the lead teacher in day to day classroom needs. This position is for our 2 year old classroom. Previous childcare experience preferred.
In addition, the Teacher's Aide is expected to:
- assist with daily activities including supporting the lead teacher during lessons, crafts, outdoor play, and meals
- help with keeping the classroom neat and orderly, cleaning up after activities, and assisting with diaper changes and bathroom needs.
- assist the specials' teachers during music, library, and gym class
- teach in classroom as lead teacher when needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
License/Certification:
- Teachers Assistant or Teacher certification in Delaware (Preferred)
