The compensation range for this position is between $32.00- $35.00
Sum m a r y
This role researches, secures and processes easements quit claims for transmission and distribution rights-of-ways. Researches land ownership and existing easement rights for property. Facilitates acquisition and/or prepares and secures permits from government agencies and railroads. The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Notary Public seal for the States in which services are rendered.

Utilize communication and negotiating skills to acquire property rights required by the company and its affiliates. Will use negotiating strategies to facilitate the land rights acquisition process.

Utilize working knowledge of real estate law along with engineering knowledge in applying solutions to company acquisition projects.

Acquires permits for the use of federal lands, coordinating compliance with all environmental requirements.

Obtains appraisal and preliminary title reports prepared by independent appraisers and title companies to determine present and future value of property affected by proposed facilities; makes recommendations regarding appraised value for purchase or acquisition of easements and fee title.

Collaborates with Land Surveyors, Research Specialists, and Data Specialists to distribute work responsibilities related to projects to most effectively deliver results.
