Key Responsibilities:
• Review and verify transmission line work packages for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to QA/QC standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and utility-specific technical requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to clarify discrepancies, update documentation, and track revisions.
• Maintain and organize work package documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility.
• Assist in audits and inspections, providing administrative support for QA/QC processes.
• Support process improvements to enhance work package quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and streamline workflows.
Requirements:
• Experience in QA/QC, project coordination, or document control within the power utilities or transmission industry preferred.
• Familiarity with transmission line work packages, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC principles, regulatory compliance, and utility standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally with engineers and project teams.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and provide feedback to ensure quality compliance.
• High School required, Associates or Bachelor's preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in transmission line construction, engineering, or utility project support.
• Knowledge of GIS, SAP, or other project management tools.
• Understanding of NERC, FERC, and other industry regulations affecting transmission projects.
