Position Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Entry‑Level Procurement Specialist supports Pike Electric's purchasing operations by assisting with the acquisition of goods and services needed to support business operations. You will help ensure materials and services are purchased efficiently, delivered on time, and meet quality and company standards. You'll work closely with vendors, internal teams, and the Procurement Leadership to learn the end‑to‑end procurement process while building foundational skills in sourcing, vendor coordination, and compliance.

You'll work closely with vendors, internal teams, and the Procurement Leadership to learn the end‑to‑end procurement process while building foundational skills in sourcing, vendor coordination, and compliance.
Essential Functions
Under close supervision, you will:
- Help source and purchase supplies and services following Pike specifications and guidelines.
- Help create and maintain vendor relationships and basic contract documentation.
- Help prepare requests for quotes or proposals and help review vendor pricing and terms.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices to help ensure timely fulfillment.
- Maintain and update inventory and procurement records for accuracy and compliance.
- Help coordinate delivery schedules and follow up with vendors as needed.
- Escalate quality concerns or delivery issues to senior procurement team members.
- Support efforts to ensure procurement processes follow company policies and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand material and service needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
- Associates degree (AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school).
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or University in Business Management, or experience equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 Years Experience in Procurement/Subcontracting.
