This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with internal departments and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements
- Review billing data for completeness and accuracy before processing
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with customers, operations, and finance teams to ensure billing alignment
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and billing correspondence
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience working in a high-volume billing environment is a plus
- Willing to work over-time as needed.
