We’re currently seeking a visionary Project Director to lead major projects, cultivate client relationships, and drive business growth in the region—specifically to oversee a project based in Burlington, Vermont.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day management and successful delivery of multiple construction projects.
- Establish, foster, and expand relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to pursue new markets and projects.
- Represent Pike at industry events, government agencies, financial institutions, and with key customers.
- Provide strategic guidance on estimating, cost control, and risk management.
- Mentor and develop project managers, superintendents, and field teams to drive performance and growth.
- Act as a visible leader in the community, reinforcing Pike’s 150 year reputation for excellence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in a construction industry leadership role (20 years preferred for senior-level expertise).
- Demonstrated success as Lead Project Manager on multiple large-scale projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Strong knowledge of estimating, contracts, and job documentation; CPM scheduling preferred.
- Business development and client relationship experience required.

Salary Range: $130,000-160,000 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
