Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Conduct engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and satisfaction
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing inventory efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining a positive shopping environment
- Maintain proper cash drawer handling procedures and ensure accurate retail math during transactions
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual setting is a plus
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities
- Knowledge of retail store product lines and merchandising techniques to effectively promote items
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone or in person
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash drawer balances
- Ability to perform stocking duties, set up product displays, and assist with inventory management confidently
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to sales
