Fabricator/Fabrication Table Operator
Location: Lewisburg, PA 17837
Pik Rite, Inc. is a manufacturer of vegetable harvesting, manure spreading equipment and commercial truck bodies from raw material to finished product. We are an industry leader with a presence in 30 states and 20 countries.
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Fabrication Table Operator to join our team in Lewisburg, PA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fabrication processes, operating plasma tables, and using press brakes to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Hours for this position: Day Shift (6a - 4p) Night Shift (7:30p - 5:30a)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plasma cutting tables to accurately cut metal parts according to specifications.
- Set up and operate press brakes to bend and shape metal components.
- Perform general fabrication tasks including measuring, cutting, assembling, and welding metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure precise fabrication.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in metal fabrication and operating fabrication equipment.
- Proficiency with plasma cutting tables and press brakes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work area.
