What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storekeeper, Central Services, Full Time Days position at PIH Health Whittier Hospital?
Puts away incoming stock into designated locations in the storeroom and Distribution area. Fills requisitions, stages and delivers supplies. Assists inventory control by accurately maintaining relevant paper and computer files.

Required Skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs. – repetitively
- Certified in forklift/material handling equipment
- Able to withstand warehouse conditions
- Clerical aptitude for – manual filing
- Computer data entry
- Knowledge of Material Management Inventory systems
- Good customer service skills
Required Experience
- High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
- One year related warehouse experience is desired.
- Hospital medical/surgical supply experience preferred
- Valid California Drivers license
- Must obtain and maintain approval by PIH insurance carrier to drive hospital vehicle(s).
