What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer, Plant Operations - FT Days position at PIH Health Whittier Hospital?
Under direct supervision of the Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager when performing planning, organizing and coordination, and supervision of minor projects and general corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment and building systems throughout the PIH Health Hospital campus as directed. Operates and maintains stationary boilers, chillers, electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the PIH Health Hospital campus.

- Identify potential problems during shift rounds, develop corrective actions, and provide adequate follow through.
Required Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Steam license preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as Operating Engineer.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Maintenance and repair experience of major equipment.
- Require a valid California Drivers License.
