Dairy and Frozen Food Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dairy and Frozen Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing dairy and frozen product inventory, ensuring product quality, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the grocery industry and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory of dairy products, ensuring stock levels are maintained and products are rotated properly.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding dairy products, providing knowledgeable recommendations and support.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organized dairy section.
• Conduct regular quality checks on dairy items to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in training development for new associates, sharing best practices in customer service and product knowledge.
• Support retail sales initiatives by promoting special offers and new products to customers.
• Assist in shift management duties, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Experience in training development to assist in onboarding new staff.
• Background in retail sales or as a clerk, preferably within the grocery or dairy sector.
• Knowledge of wireless sales techniques is a plus but not required.
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices to maintain stock levels accurately.
• Ability to manage shifts effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed timely.
• Basic budgeting skills to assist in managing departmental expenses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
