- Strategic Growth: Develop and implement department objectives, focusing on maximizing consumer appeal, sales, and sustainable profitability.
- Financial Oversight: Coordinate budgets and review performance data (financial, sales, and activity reports) to measure productivity and hit aggressive goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of your staff. You will set policies, conduct performance reviews, and foster a high-performance culture.
- MerchandisingVendor Relations: Establish strong relationships with vendors to enhance our product range and oversee pricing and promotions.
- Operational Excellence: Use a guest-oriented mindset to resolve problems efficiently while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
- Tech Savvy: Utilize MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems to manage daily operations and reporting.
- Experience: Extensive retail or deli management experience is highly recommended.
- Leadership Mastery: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage direct reports according to company policy.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with food trends and best practices to keep our offerings fresh and competitive.
- PhysicalTechnical Skill: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and safely operate hazardous equipment (mixers, slicers, ovens, etc.) with precision.
