Production & Packaging Associate
Pigeon Cove Ferments is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our production team. This position will assist with the production and packaging of our sauerkraut as well as packaging operations on our kombucha canning line.
Responsibilities
- Assist with sauerkraut production, including preparing, processing, and packaging vegetables.
- Fill, weigh, label, case, and prepare finished sauerkraut for storage and distribution.
- Assist with kombucha canning and packaging, including loading cans, packing cases, labeling, and palletizing finished product.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and work areas before and after production.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, GMP, and company procedures.
- Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
No previous fermentation or beverage production experience is required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands-on food production environment.
Applicants should be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive production tasks, and safely lift approximately 50 lbs.
