We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Associate to join our growing family-owned luxury natural stone company in the Bay Area.
We are looking for a polished, professional, and sales-driven individual with experience in the natural stone and/or interior design industry. The ideal candidate is confident working with designers, architects, builders, and homeowners while delivering an elevated customer experience and driving sales growth.
This position is ideal for someone who understands luxury products, has strong relationship-building skills, and thrives in a fast-paced showroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in selecting natural stone materials for residential and commercial projects
- Build and maintain relationships with designers, architects, contractors, developers, and homeowners
- Generate and follow up on sales leads and showroom inquiries
- Prepare estimates, sales orders, and customer communications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain strong product knowledge of marble, quartzite, porcelain, and other natural stone materials
- Coordinate closely with team members to support sales goals and project timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process
- Assist with showroom presentation and client experience
- Participate in industry networking and occasional after-hours events
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of inside sales experience in the natural stone, tile, interior design, or luxury building materials industry preferred
- Strong sales background with proven ability to close and manage projects
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong computer and social media skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of design, architecture, or construction industry terminology is a plus
