What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist and/or Speech Pathologist Assistant position at PIERRE SCHOOL DISTRICT?
This opening is for the 2026-27 school year.
An individual who holds a master’s or doctoral degree from an institution accredited by the accrediting agency of ASHA and from an educational institution approved by the US Department of education, has completed supervised clinical practicum, has completed supervised postgraduate professional experience, has passed a written national examination for speech-language pathology, and has committed no act for which disciplinary action may be justified. May consider an individual that is entering their supervised Clinical Fellowship year or an individual with their Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certification (Salary range for SLPA will differ than range posted).
Individual will evaluate/diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
May need to provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
Will Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
