Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and supervise store staff, including cashiers and clerks
- Train and develop employees to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and POS system usage
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of cash registers and sales transactions
- Analyze sales data and implement strategies to maximize store profitability
- Collaborate with the assistant manager to create employee schedules and manage payroll
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably as an assistant manager or store manager
- Strong knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
