Pierre-Louis Geriatric Care LLC provides specialized overnight care for adults living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Our Adult Social Night Care Program offers a safe, structured, and compassionate environment for individuals experiencing nighttime confusion, wandering, and sundowning.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and safety-focused Bus Driver to transport participants to and from our Adult Social Night Care Program. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport participants to and from the program.
- Assist participants with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
- Ensure all passengers are properly secured before transport.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license (Class E ).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to safely assist older adults with mobility needs.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia is preferred but not required.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Evening (5pm-7pm) and morning (4am-6am) transportation routes
- Weekend availability preferred
