Pierre Atelier – Seamstress/Seamster - Upholstery, New Rochelle, NY | Full-Time
Pierre Atelier is seeking a skilled and motivated seamstress or seamster to join our upholstery team in New Rochelle, NY. We produce custom upholstery for high-end American and European decorators, architects and builders.
About the Role
You will be working with our seamstresses and upholsterers to make draperies (wave, pinch-pleated), roman shades, cushions, slipcovers, and pillows. This is a hands-on role that demands attention to detail and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Cutting fabrics and leathers according to project specifications.
- Hand and machine sewing.
- Application of trimmings and decorative elements.
- Finishing work to a high-quality standard.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in upholstery sewing.
- Strong motivation
- Team-oriented
- Must be able to commute to our New Rochelle, NY.
- English
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $25-$35 / hour, depending on experience.
- Full-time: Monday - Friday 7am-3.30pm
- Two weeks' paid holidays.
- A supportive atelier with room to grow.
