Role Description
The Youth Mentor is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashville, TN. This role involves providing mentorship and guidance to individuals and groups of youth, facilitating structured programs, organizing after-school and weekend enrichment activities, and promoting leadership development and positive behavior. Additionally, the Youth Mentor will collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to support the overall development and success of young people.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in mentorship, leadership, and youth engagement
- Ability to plan and facilitate educational and enrichment activities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
- Experience working with youth ages 12–17 in a mentorship or educational capacity is a plus
- First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage
