Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration units, heating equipment, and mini split units.
- Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to maximize efficiency and longevity.
- Diagnose issues using tools such as multimeters and refrigerant gauges; perform necessary repairs and component replacements.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving plumbing, electrical connections, or equipment repair to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs for all installations and repairs performed.
- Operate a company vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between job sites.
Requirements
- Proven 5 years experience as a service/install technician with a strong background in HVAC/R systems.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC design principles, schematics reading, plumbing, refrigeration systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- Ability to perform equipment repair tasks such as brazing, troubleshooting electrical issues with multimeters, and mechanical adjustments.
- Field service experience demonstrating capability in equipment repair and general maintenance tasks across commercial or residential settings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and drug screen.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency calls as needed.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R safety standards and practices; ability to work in confined spaces or elevated locations when required, as well as extreme temperatures.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and establish a strong rapport with customers.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
