Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and financial reporting.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, municipal finance policies, and audit requirements.
- Support budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and fiscal analysis activities.
- Advise leadership on financial risks, operational efficiencies, funding utilization, and budget impacts.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Develop and maintain financial procedures and internal controls to safeguard public resources.
- Support grant reporting, capital project tracking, and procurement-related financial oversight.
- Provide analytical support for labor, staffing, operational, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with ERP system management, financial reporting enhancements, and process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting, financial analysis, or governmental finance experience.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting practices, budget administration, and municipal reporting standards.
- Strong proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
