EVENT STAFF FOR THE WASHINGTON STATE FAIR
SEPTEMBER 4th - 27th
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay $22.00 per hour (Washington State Fair Rate only)
- Paid security training for event staff that want to stay on beyond the WSF
- Part-time evening shifts/weekends
- Flexible schedule
Pierce County Security (PCS) is hiring Security Officers, Event Staff and Alcohol Enforcement for events held throughout 2025 at the Washington State Fairgrounds (WSF).
All shifts (24/7) are available - WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
Security personnel perform a wide range of functions at the WSF Grounds including, but not limited to:
- Assisting WSF Employees, Vendors and Visitors
- Controlling access
- Watching for unusual activity and any situation that poses a possible safety risk
- Checking I.D.’s for people accessing beer gardens/bars throughout the fairgrounds
- Reporting problems and incidents to security and emergency personnel
- Write reports of any incidents
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Available work evenings and weekends
- Free of illegal drugs or drugs that impair your abilities (Includes THC products)
- Must be able to communicate in English
