Pay: $23.00 per hour
Job description:
Pierce County Security (PCS) has been in business since 1927 providing security services throughout Western Washington. PCS is currently hiring Patrol Officers. PCS Patrol Officers are assigned to a section of the city and/or county and provide security services for the clients in their section.
Pay and Benefits:
- $23.00 per hour
- Paid training provided to obtain Security Officer's License (Guard Card)
- PCS will pay the $101. Washington State Security Officer's License fee for employees that complete 90 days of employment
- Paid time off for personal reasons such as illness or vacation
- Patrol car or SUV provided during work hours
- Full-Time

Security Officer Responsibilities:
- Patrol client facilities with company car, pick-up or sport utility vehicle
- Ensure client facilities are secured
- Deter theft and vandalism
- Watch for intrusion, fire, flood and other hazards
- Respond to alarms
- Assist employees and visitors
- Notify police, fire or medical aid when needed
- Write reports of incidents
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must Have a valid Washington State Drivers License
- Security, Military, or security related experience.
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Good driving record
- Availability to work shifts which can include weekends and holidays
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen( to include cannabis)
- Must have Clear Criminal Record
*According to Washington state law the Department of Licensing (DOL) will not issue a Security Guard license to anyone with a Gross Misdemeanor within the last seven years or a Felony within the last ten years. Other criminal charges will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
