Job description:
We are seeking experienced, level-headed Security Officers for a steady full-time assignment who can remain calm under pressure and treat every individual with dignity and respect.
This is a high-interaction, community-based site where professionalism, patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential. This position is ideal for officers skilled in conflict de-escalation and maintaining firm but respectful boundaries.
For the right officer, this position offers a consistent Wednesday–Sunday schedule, $22.00 per hour, site training, and full-time benefits. Officers who are dependable, professional, comfortable interacting with people, and able to remain composed in challenging situations are most likely to succeed at this site.

Responsibilities
- Control access and greet staff and guests professionally
- Maintain safety and order in a people-centered environment
- De-escalate tense situations using calm communication
- Enforce policies fairly and consistently
- Observe and report safety concerns (fire, flood, hazards)
- Complete detailed incident reports
- Contact emergency services when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years security experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and complete written reports
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Washington State Guard Card (PCS reimburses the $101 state fee after 90 days)
- Clear criminal record per WA DOL Guard Card standards
- Pass pre-employment drug screening (including cannabis)
