What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patrol Officer (Bicycle) position at Pierce County Security/Pacific Coast Security?
Pay and Benefits:
- $20/hour with an increase to $22 after six months
- PCS will pay the $101.00 security license fee for employees who's employment last 90 days
- Paid training
- Bicycle uniforms (coats, polo shirts, bike pants and/or shorts provided)
- Mountain bike provided! We use Trek Mountain Bikes

Bicycle Patrol Officers With Flexible Schedule Needed!
Pierce County Security (PCS) has been in business since 1927 providing security services throughout Western Washington.
PCS Bicycle Patrol Officers work in Downtown Tacoma. Officers deter loitering, vandalism and other criminal activity. Officers assist the public and visitors. File electronic reports of daily/nightly activities.
Qualifications:
- Washington State Security Guard License, we provide training.
- Physically fit to ride a bike. PCS will arrange for a fitness test
- At least 2 years security or military experience required
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Good public relations skill
- Availability to work shifts which include nights, holidays and weekends
- Applicants must pass Pre-Employment drug screen to include cannabis
- Availability to work any needed hours
