Weekend Shift: 7:00PM-7:00AM FRI-SUN (12hr shifts - working 36hrs a week but you will be paid for 40hrs!!)

POSTION SUMMARY:
Perform the task of an Assembler and provide support to production line and Operators by ensuring that each Operator is properly trained to perform assigned tasks according to established quality procedures and specification, ensuring continuous line operation and meeting daily production schedules. Perform technical troubleshooting along with minor machine maintenance. Provide oversight for employee performance. Receive direction and confer frequently with Production Coordinator. May fill in when Production Coordinator is absent, or serve in similar capacity on shifts that have minimal Production Coordinator personnel present.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Mechanical experience and aptitude preferred
- 3 years Manufacturing/Assembly experience required
- Basic computer skills required
- Demonstrated Line Lead experience**
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot machines/tooling and resolution of quality problems making corrections as appropriate using basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment according to established guidelines and assist maintenance technicians in performing various tasks
- Maintain each station equipped with appropriate supply of parts to operate production line without interruptions
- Ensure that proper components are being assembled and correct work instructions are followed, including all re-work, accordingly
- Confirm all finished product in SAP
- Assist and/or perform equipment changeover on highly automated lines ensuring that quality standard is maintained by verifying first pieces with QC prior to commencing production
- Reset equipment failures, investigate and evaluate occurrences focusing on root cause(s) for permanent solution of problem(s)
- Document all intervention accordingly
- Ensure that all products and containers are duly identified.
- Ensure suspect material is handled properly
- Maintain documentation according to established procedures
- Elevate significant problems relative to quality, performance, and safety to supervisors
