What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Dock Hand position at Pier Seven Resort Marina?
- Pier 7 Marina is looking for an ambitious self-starter who is motivated and willing to learn. Must have the stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including working outside in hot and humid conditions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays through October.
- Will secure boats, connect and monitor utility services (power and water), assist with pump outs, and help with trash cleanup.
- Aids slip holders, and guests. Greets customers in a manner that contributes to a kind, courteous and professional environment.
- Carries out routine daily duties that meet standards for all marina related operations; ensures the recognized standards are maintained.
- Always demonstrates safe work habits, including the proper care and use of tools, equipment, vehicles.
- Maintains a friendly, professional working relationship with co-workers, members, guests, and vendors.
- To be successful in this role, you need a working knowledge of marina operations, excellent customer service practices, and time management. You will help ensure our marina operations run smoothly and that we maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Willing to train, customer service or marina experience preferred.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
