Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role located in New Bedford, MA. The Truck Driver will transport seafood products to and from designated locations, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries. Daily tasks include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading products, securing cargo, and maintaining proper documentation and logs. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, company safety standards, and temperature-control requirements. The Truck Driver will also communicate with dispatch and warehouse staff, report any vehicle issues, and keep the truck clean and in good working order.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a strong record of safe Truck Driving.
- Experience with loading and Unloading freight and securing cargo in a Truck environment.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and compliance with all applicable safety and transportation laws.
- Ability to work on-site in New Bedford, MA, with flexibility for early mornings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to maintain accurate delivery and inspection records.
- Physical ability to lift and move products, stand for extended periods, and work in a cold-storage and dock environment.
- Good communication skills and professional interaction with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in food or refrigerated trucking is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
