Job DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Transport & stock supplies at designated location throughout propertyClean, dust, sanitize and polish.Sweep, mop and/or vacuum.Trash removal and receptacle maintenanceCollect waste materials and process accordingly (recycle, compost, landfill, special handling)Interior cleaning – offices, restrooms, and breakrooms, etc.Exterior cleaning – walkways, stairwells, escalators, elevators, restrooms, perimeter roadway, wood decks, etc.Support event setup and post-event cleanup. Rate: $25.00 - $26.00 / hour (DOE)This is a union position.This role is seasonal and expected to conclude by February 2026.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent.Housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.Proficient in the use and operation of cleaning appliances.Thorough understanding of the proper use of commercial cleaning agents.Attention to detail.Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in outdoor settings.Previous experience in customer service is beneficial.Additional InformationPIER 39 is a 45-acre waterfront complex that is a gathering place for millions of San Francisco locals and visitors.
