Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Positouch POS systems , ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas and assisting with sanitation procedures in accordance with food safety standards
- Build positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure guest health and safety
- Excellent communication skills coupled with basic math abilities for accurate order taking and cash handling
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Previous experience in the food industry involving serving, bussing, or guest services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of culinary processes or kitchen experience can be advantageous for understanding menu items and food preparation details
- Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations, upselling techniques, and sales-driven service
