- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a busy veterinary hospital focused on nursing care
- Strong venipuncture and phlebotomy skills
- Experience placing and maintaining IV catheters
- Knowledge of anesthesia and patient monitoring
- Strong patient restraint and handling skills
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and accept direction when needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential
- CPR training or certification
- Experience with EzyVet
- Experience with SmartFlow
- Specialty or emergency medicine experience
- Strong interest in continued learning and professional development
