Pieper Houston Electric is seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Project Safety Representative to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting the safety needs of our team at a specific project while implementing and managing health and safety protocols across commercial electrical construction sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits.
- Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety orientations and training sessions for field crews.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and company safety programs.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
- Maintain documentation for inspections, incident reports, and toolbox talks.
- Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and subcontractors on safe work planning.
- Monitor use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and energized work safety.
- Assist with pre-task planning and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
Qualifications
- 3 years of safety experience in electrical or commercial construction.
- OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 510/500 a plus).
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E and NEC safety requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in field conditions and travel to active project sites.
- First Aid / CPR Trained
- Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
