Responsibilities
- Execute projects based on customer need
- Specify equipment and controls per customer needs and requirements
- Work independently or as part of a project team
- Travel as needed for system commissioning at customer sites
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Project engineering and programming work are the main focus areas of the role
- Cultivate customer relationships to drive repeat business and growth
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in Engineering or a related field
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand the customer’s point-of-view
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various levels of personnel including customers, vendors, managers, field and office workers
- Ability to work independently or within a project team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize various daily responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge and experience in several of the following: Control system design, Machine Safety, PLCs, SCADA/Operator Interface, Drive systems, Robotics, Vision, and DCS systems
