Advanced Practice Provider - Inpatient Surgical Non OR - Urology
This position is both a clinic and hospital in-patient opportunity and the expected work schedule is currently Monday through Friday. There is a minimal paid call requirement. The ideal candidate would have prior experience providing urological care to patients in a clinic setting. We are also open to training a new graduate that is interested in becoming specialized in a sub-specialty area.
Responsibilities
The position works collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other allied health staff to provide all aspects of high quality patient care for urology patients. This position provides patient care in the outpatient (clinical) setting by performing independent post-operative care and coordination of patient care management for a variety of urology indications. Provision of care includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and in-patient consults, rounds and discharges.

Qualifications:
Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
