We are a 24 bed Medical/Surgical fast-paced, high acuity Intensive Care Unit staffed with Critical Care Intensivists/APPs 24/7. Also included in our staff mix are Registered nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care technicians. Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:2/ 1:3.
40 Beds ICU
Sepsis and MultiSystem Organ failure management
Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) for post cardiac arrest
Advanced Invasive & NonInvasive Hemodynamic Monitoring
IntraAortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
Impella
Titration of vasopressors
Titration of continuous paralytics
Use of BIS monitor /TOF monitor
Management of Pacemakers
Complex Respiratory Failure patients requiring advanced ventilatory support
Post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Acute Stroke Care with Alteplase management
Management of Shock to include cardiac, septic, hypovolemic.
Management of neurosurgical patients including care of external ventricular devices
Patients with ARDS requiring manual prone therapy
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the RN, Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager or designee the unit secretary will perform clerical and receptionist duties while providing quality customer service. Qualifications: Education

- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- No experience required Required
- 1 year of related hospital experience Preferred
- Successful completion of Medical Terminology course Preferred
