This is a full-time on-site position for a Registered Nurse - MedSurg, located in Midtown, Columbus, GA. The role involves delivering patient-centric care in a Medical-Surgical setting, including monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and providing education to patients and families. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain accurate medical records, and play a key role in improving patient outcomes in alignment with Piedmont’s mission of high-quality care.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Experience in Medical-Surgical or relevant acute care settings
- Proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and clinical decision-making
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to educate and support patients and families during their care journey
- Commitment to maintaining safety, compliance, and high standards of care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Adaptability, critical thinking, and organizational skills to manage a dynamic care environment
- BSN preferred or willingness to obtain within designated time frame
