This role supports individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders, helping them develop coping strategies and achieve treatment goals.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions and create personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct intake assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments.
- Provide group therapy sessions focused on mental health, coping skills, and relapse prevention.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers to ensure integrated care.
- Document all sessions and maintain compliance with HIPAA and program standards.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Educate clients on emotional regulation, life skills, and recovery strategies.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training.
- Education: Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT (associate licensure accepted if working toward full licensure).
- Experience: Prior experience in outpatient mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and group facilitation skills.
