Piedmont Newton is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) (preferably 3 years) with inpatient acute care experience to provide high-quality, one-on-one care to patients recovering from illness or injury. In this role, you will conduct evaluations, provide treatment using various modalities, and develop personalized therapy plans to help patients regain independence in daily activities.
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate and dedicated to empowering patients as they work to regain functionality and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
This is a full-time, day-shift position.
Responsible For
Providing occupational therapy for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Responsible for the care of patients treated by certified occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
Minimum Experience Required
New Graduates of Occupational Therapy program eligible
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law
Current GA License as Occupational Therapist
Additional Qualifications
BLS Certification Required
