Overview
Serves as front-line support for Patient Financial Care within Piedmont. The incumbent is responsible for handling and resolving in-person, telephonic or digital customer inquiries and/or concerns by providing patients/guarantors from both hospitals and physician practices with a consistent and seamless experience. The incumbent is also responsible for following up on and collecting pre-service, at-service or outstanding guarantor balances when required. Will provide information on estimated cost of services, verify coverage, secure authorization, make appointments, and explain insurance benefits and information on financial resources to patients/guarantors.

Qualifications
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 2 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience Required
- 5 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience with a focus in Financial Counseling is desired Preferred
- None Required
- Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred
