Repair Technician (Wildlife Damage, Construction, Siding, Roofing)

Piedmont Wildlife Control - Animals Be Gone
Timberlake, NC Full Time
POSTED ON 10/20/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/18/2026

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Wildlife Exclusion & Repair Technician to join our fast‐growing team. This role is perfect for someone with construction or carpentry experience who is dependable, communicates clearly, and delivers a high level of customer service. Customer communication and daily customer interactions are a required part of this job. You’ll explain findings, outline recommended repairs, and help the homeowners understand how your work protects their home long term. Strong communication and consistent attendance are essential.

You’ll handle the hands‐on repair and exclusion work that keeps wildlife out — sealing entry points, repairing damage, reinforcing structures, and installing professional‐grade barriers. If you’re comfortable on ladders, confident with tools, and take pride in solid craftsmanship, you’ll thrive here. Reliability and professionalism are key, as customers and teammates depend on timely, high-quality work.

This position includes a 6‐month probationary/training period, followed by a pay increase upon successful completion.

Compensation

Pay is $20-30/hr depending on experience, qualifications, certifications, and proven field skills. Candidates with prior wildlife control, construction, roofing, or pest‐control experience may start at a higher rate.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform exclusion repairs on roofs, soffits, fascia, crawlspaces, and attics
  • Install wildlife‐proof barriers, screens, and seal‐ups
  • Repair damage caused by raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, and other wildlife
  • Use ladders, power tools, and hand tools safely and confidently
  • Identify structural vulnerabilities and recommend repair solutions
  • Work independently in the field with support from the team
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners and property managers
  • Document work with photos and notes in Jobber

Requirements

  • Professional, reliable work ethic demonstrated through consistent and timely attendance
  • Strong communication and interaction skills with both customers and team members
  • High-quality customer service
  • Ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
  • Must be able to use ladders and comfortably traverse roofs and crawl in tight spaces
  • Able to lift 75 lbs overhead
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Pass background check & drug screen

Desired Qualifications

  • Construction, roofing, or maintenance experience
  • Pest control license a plus
