Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis. as needed. Responsibilities include teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, which may include distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia – principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor of Fine Arts in a related field.
Additional Considerations
Two years teaching experience and/or work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching.
Master’s of Fine Arts in Photography or Videography
Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel
To and from any college campus/site location as assigned.
