Job Description
Qualifications: Credentials, as required by the State of Oklahoma 2 years administrative experience preferred
Reports to: Superintendent or Superintendent’s Designee
Performance Responsibilities:
- Promotes a collaborative and positive school culture through relations with faculty, families, students, and community members.
- Promotes an environment where principals and faculty are visible and accessible to students, family, and community members.
- Coordinates parent, faculty and student groups to enhance educational programs and
- Assists in the recruitment, selection, retention, evaluation, promotion, and assignment of personnel.
- Provides instructional leadership in developing and implementing educational programs designed to meet the needs of all students and to meet accreditation
- Leads the improvement of student achievement through faculty collaboration, developing and implementing site improvement plans, goals and action plan.
- Coordinates professional development activities for faculty and staff that align to specific site needs.
- Assures implementation of state standards and district
- Supervises all school
- Supervises student conduct, implements disciplinary procedures and maintains disciplinary records.
- Implements and promotes district, state, and federal laws, policies, and
- Establishes and updates site crisis plan and exercises decisive leadership in crisis
- Manages and supervises student data systems, including attendance and
- Coordinates with appropriate child nutrition personnel to identify student eligibility for federal programs.
- Manages budgets, requisitions, receipts, and records according to instructional, supply and equipment needs. Performs other duties as assigned by the
