Position: Service Technician
Location: Abbeville, South Carolina - 610 W. Greenwood St.
Description: Service technicians are an integral part of the Piedmont Propane team. Tasks include:
- Installation: Install propane tanks, regulators, and piping for residential and commercial customers.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on propane systems and appliances, including safety checks, leak detection, and equipment adjustments.
- Repair: Diagnose and repair propane system issues, including leaks, malfunctions, and equipment failures.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols when handling propane and working with equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
- Other Duties: May include delivering propane, assisting with tank setting and removal, and other duties as assigned.
