Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support NIH Stroke Certification EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) Job Details UNIT DETAILS : Diagnosis include but not limited to - Pre-eclampsia, hypertension, gestational diabetes, cardiac conditions, seizures, OB / GYN and preterm labor. We are a modified LDRP, one day the nurse may have labor the next Mom / Baby or be a Circulator. We do 50-60 deliveries a month with around 50-80 triage patients per month. We also have a Level II NICU, we keep 32 weeks and up. For labor the ratio is 1 : 2, for MB 1 : 4 couplet, for ante-partum 1 : 3 (all depending on acuity). WEEKEND : Every Other CALL : None FLOATING : Within facility / scope of practice (including sitter responsibilities) as needed MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers AYA OFFER : Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile / confirmation and determine if unit / schedule / expertise fit. Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines meets specific facility requirements. RTO : MAX 7 days HOLIDAYS : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Background Check required within 30 days of start.
