RN ED Trauma Full Time Nights Position Summary
Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of assigned patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses patients' medical conditions and develops individualized plans of care
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Evaluates patient responses to treatment and adjusts plans as needed
Requirements:
- Nursing: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
- BLS certification is required; PALS and ACLS certifications are required within the orientation period; ENPC, TNCC, CEN certifications are preferred
- One year of experience in acute care/critical care/emergency department is preferred; Monitor experience or EKG course completion is required; Trauma Certification is required
