Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
• Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic software to identify faults efficiently.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant lines and drainage connections.
• Repair or replace mechanical parts such as motors, compressors, fans, and welders as needed.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Operate specialized equipment for ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R systems in accordance with industry regulations.
• Assist in designing HVAC solutions tailored to client needs by understanding system schematics and technical specifications.
• Support property maintenance teams by providing field service expertise for appliance repair and general mechanical issues.

Experience

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles, schematics reading, and system troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, equipment repair, welding skills, and general mechanic experience.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC setups is a plus.
• Field service experience working directly on air conditioning units, appliances, or HVAC/R systems.
