Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic software to identify faults efficiently.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant lines and drainage connections.
- Repair or replace mechanical parts such as motors, compressors, fans, and welders as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Operate specialized equipment for ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R systems in accordance with industry regulations.
- Assist in designing HVAC solutions tailored to client needs by understanding system schematics and technical specifications.
- Support property maintenance teams by providing field service expertise for appliance repair and general mechanical issues.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles, schematics reading, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, equipment repair, welding skills, and general mechanic experience.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC setups is a plus.
- Field service experience working directly on air conditioning units, appliances, or HVAC/R systems.
