Position SummaryThe Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while working closely with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional rehabilitative services.
What You'll DoEvaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide skilled speech-language therapy services.
Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and families.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as scheduled.
Educate residents and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
Promote positive clinical outcomes and resident quality of life.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
