A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BARTENDER:
As a restaurant bartender at our club, you are the friendly face behind the bar. You provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests. With a positive and outgoing attitude, you cheerfully prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to our standard recipes. You offer recommendations and utilize your knowledge of all aspects of mixology including food/wine pairings and wine presentation and service. Your charismatic and professional disposition comes through in all your interactions and is one of the reasons why our members return.
To provide the best service possible, you ensure that the bar is well-stocked and complete other pre-opening and closing duties. Taking pride in the bar area, you are conscientious about following proper health codes and cleaning procedures. In this bartending position, you enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members have a great time!
WORK SCHEDULE:
The typical schedule includes weekend, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older (to serve alcohol)
- One years of bartending experience, preferably two years in a country club environment
- Alcohol beverage certification and food safety certification OR willingness to acquire them
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in humid, hot environment
