Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments
- Conduct dental exams, diagnose oral conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on oral health and hygiene
- Manage patient behavior and anxiety to ensure a positive experience
- Collaborate with assistants, hygienists, and office staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program
- Valid NC dental license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families
- Team-oriented, compassionate, and patient-centered
